TomTom new features for iPhone?

tomtomTomTom in an interview with AllAboutPhones.nl say that they will be adding many new features this year to their iPhone product including Safety Camera updates and updated maps.

Unfortunately when you compare CoPilot, TomTom, Navigon, iGo and Sygic, the only one that has the most features by far is CoPilot. It seems that many of the SatNav products appearing on the iPhone are providing basic features and then upgrading them later to a fuller feature set.

CoPilot by far has the most amount of features but is continuing to update support for features adding QWERTY keyboard support, Fuel Prices, Traffic all which are coming very soon, where the others seem to be lacking behind. I’m still amazed that companies like TomTom can release a SatNav product and not include features like ClearTurn, Lane Assist and Safety Cameras in their base product for Europe and leave customers thinking will these features be released at some time in the future? CoPilot also has Weather and Live Tracking which are two extremely important features whilst driving to your destination, and these are still not available in any of the competition for iPhone.
