GPush for iPhone

If you don’t have an exchange account, but you do have a Google Mail account (GMail), then you can receive push notifications for a very small fee (<£1 for most apps) that enable push notification and constantly check for new inbound email. GPush is one of them that is fairly light weight, just provides you with an icon on your program screen and nothing more.

Once you see you have waiting messages signified by the number 1 showing against GPush, you jus topen up your regular MAIL icon (not the GPush one) and read your mail. It’s that simple! Once you’ve read your email the unread messages flag will be removed from the icon within 30 seconds.
