I’m amazed at that the amount of people that do not know the iPhone App Store policy of zero refunds. Apple will give you a refund if you cannot download the software, but once the application has been downloaded, that’s it.
The silly part of this is everyone agrees to this on creating their iTunes account, but nobody ever reads the legal blurb. For anyone wanting to re-read the iTunes App Store Terms and Conditions you can see the UK one at http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/uk/terms.html and the USA one at http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/us/terms.html
Basically Section 12 is somewhat different in each country but basically stipulates “Refund Policy. On occasion, technical problems may delay or prevent delivery of your Product. Your exclusive and sole remedy with respect to Product that is not delivered within a reasonable period will be either replacement of such Product, or refund of the price paid for such Product, as determined by Apple. Otherwise, no refunds are available. “. There’s also another good newsblog on this at http://gizmodo.com/5035646/getting-a-refund-from-the-app-store-is-basically-impossible

Ah, great! This settled up some contradictions I’ve heard.
