Have you ever got caught out at a restaurant, the bill arrives and either you can’t work out the split between your friends, or the waiter can’t work it out. The latter happened with a waiter when I went out for a meal with friends only about a month ago.

Thankfully I had CheckPlease for iPhone installed. Usually you can work it out fairly easily with the calculator on your phone, or a rough figure in your head, but Checkplease goes two steps further. Not only does it allow for splitting the bill as many ways as you want, but it also allows you to work out a tip at a percentage and then split the bill.
