eReader books only for US based customers…

“The continuing saga of geographic restrictions on eBooks rumbles on and seems to be getting worse as the days pass. The arrival of an email from eReader pointing to three titles which are available for only $1.99 and a selection of many other titles looked good. However, non-US eReader.com users are not allowed to purchase them…”

Likewise the new Dan Brown’s latest book is also restricted to US residents only.

“eReader, fictionwise and others have done nothing to reduce the frustration non-US residents feel over this. We still receive emails promoting books we cannot buy and the sites are set up in a way which gives you no option to filter the books. “

Personally I’ve been an eReader (Palm Digital Media) customer since they first launched, and it’s frustrating for me and others to be locked to content where best sellers like Dan Brown’s latest book that I can’t purchase for my iPhone direct from eReader but I can purchase it in WHSmiths, Amazon or any other good paperback book retailer.
