PushMail 2.0 out for iPhone and Gmail

PushMail has recently been updated to version 2.0.

For those who have not seen this app, it is similar to the numerous other push Gmail type apps available with one nice change — this will work with any email account and IS NOT limited to Gmail.

Another perk that comes with the PushMail app is that it can send you notifications for more than one email account. In other words, this may be a good option for those with multiple email account.

New features that were added in version 2.0 include

  • Ability to choose from the 25 available notification sounds
  • Ability to silence the alerts at specified times
  • You can now see your alert history
  • If history is enabled, you will also see a badge notification for new alerts
  • View button in push notification message will not allow you to choose between and launch the Mail app or Safari

The PushMail app is currently available in the App Store.
