CoPilot 8 – iPhone POI Set Mismatch error

Some CoPilot 8 iPhone customers who have recently upgraded to the new EU build of 8.0.0.417 have seen a “POI set safetycam – Version does not match network version” error message on launch. CoPilot 8 still works fine but if you do see this error message there’s a number of things you can do to fix it.

Resolution #1

  • Exit CoPilot
  • SETTINGS | COPILOT EU
  • Set FULL RESET to ON
  • Launch CoPilot
  • Activate using the same CoPilot Live ID

If that doesn’t work, then try the second more detailed approach which has resolved it for some customers…

Resolution #2

  • As per image (right), ask customers to
  • Uninstall Copilot on the iPhone
  • Sync iPhone to iTunes on PC/Mac
  • Re-Transfer CoPilot downloaded on the PC to the iPhone
  • Unplug USB cable from iPhone
  • Launch CoPilot
  • Activate using the same CoPilot Live ID
