Anti-radiation case for the iPhone

One thing I’ve been concerned about more recently is cell phone radiation. For the past 4 or 5 years I’ve been using Bluetooth headsets but one thing I’ve found on the iPhone is these don’t work all that well, so I’ve gone back to using the phone as is without a headset. Many days I find my head gets warm and I start to feel my head buzzing.

A case manufacturer (Pong Research) has come out with the Pong radiation-reducing case.

Pong Research have created a case that is like a silicone case. It offers good protection while giving you full access to all ports, controls, and the camera but when you look at the inside you find a gold PCB module that claims to reduce overall radiation output by 60%. It is this PCB module that directs an iPhone cell signal and radiation through the back of the phone, keeping it away from the user’s head.

While the price is not cheap at $59.99, it’s something I might start to look into again.
