I really love these old titles from the Atari ST/Amiga days coming back to the iPhone in retro style, and Space Ace is one of the great games I used to love to play over two decades ago (man that makes me feel old!).
The gameplay of Space Ace requires the player to move the joystick in the right direction or press the fire button at the right moment in order to avoid the various hazards Ace/Dexter faces. The thing with Space Ace was the controls weren’t that difficult but you had to be precise otherwise you’d stumble or fall and have to restart the level. It was one of the first games of it’s times providing more cartoon like TV/Film based qualities.
The game offered very lifelike movie animation and also introduced some branching possibilities to the game.
