Charge those AA batteries with your USB port

I saw these whilst out shopping and thought I had to grab a pack of these. They come in packs of two (not four) but usually are around £8.99 on the web for two and I picked these up at almost half the price for £4.99.

To start with the first thing that goes through your head is why would you ever want one? Okay, here me out a little. There’s a plethora of AA battery chargers around that allow you to charge up batteries for your Camera and other toys or gadgets that require AA batteries. However, what happens when you have your batteries but they’re running low? You don’t have your battery charger with you, or you have to go out and buy some more batteries. True, batteries can be pretty cheap now, under £2 for a pack of 4 AA batteries, but if you’re stuck in a hotel or traveling, and you have your mains USB charger or a powered USB hub or your laptop, then you can recharge the batteries!

Each battery takes approx 5 hours to recharge when fully depleted but can take less if the battery is just low on power, or in most cases at 50%.

If you keep 2x or 4x of these batteries in your bag you can easily charge these over night!
