SocialSeek is an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that allows you to search for a given subject or person either globally or around a specific location. In simple terms, it’s effectively like a Twitter search but also searches the web for blogs, news articles, photos and videos along with any events it can find.
See what’s making noise, what the hot topics are, follow your stars (or fans for that matter), favorite football, baseball, F1 team, even your own brand – all in real-time and stay in the scene with SocialSeek.
Twitter is a great way on following people and trends, but SocialSeek allows you to not just find the latest tweets but all tweets over time, along with blog posts and any photos or videos that may be associated with these.
If you want to find out about someone and check out their web presence then SocialSeek is a great app to use, but equally can be quite scary when you see what’s been posted online about you or other people with the same name.
