Listable – ToDo (cloud app) for iPhone and iPod Touch

There’s a new great GTD (Getting Things Done) / To Do list application for the iPhone and iPod Touch called Listable.

Listable lets you create sub categories, manage your tasks, set them as completed or delete them, and you can also share your lists with others and manage them on the web through a secure login.

Listable say that “Listable is the social To-Do list. You can make personal and professional collaboration easy by sharing your lists with others in your iPhone contact list. Your list changes are visible immediately to others through their iPhone, iPod Touch or on the ListableApp.com web site. Other users of the Listable App are notified immediately of changes on lists that they’re sharing with you through push notifications. See recent changes on your lists at a glance through the Listable Activity Feed, a social stream of recent collaborative activity.”

“List making is easy. A simple interface, both on the ListableApp.com web site and the iPhone/iPod Touch application, allows you to create, edit and share the lists that you need. Create some lists that are unshared for personal use, and add friends, family and co-workers to others.”

You can quickly modify text, reorder list items or lists, and share the list with others using the iPhone/iPod Touch application interface. Get your life organized and stay connected with the free Listable app and web service.

I have been using Listable since it came out just prior to Christmas and must say it is a great product. The great thing I like about Listable is not only is it on the iPhone and iPod touch, but it syncs your data to the cloud (Internet), which means you can also go to http://www.listableapp.com and log in with your account details and access the same lists on your PC and on other devices. What’s even better is that if you want to collaborate with others, you can send out invites for particular lists and share these with other people. Currently Listable doesn’t support UAC (User Access Control) / Permissions, so if you share a list out with someone else, they have full permissions to add or delete anything you have on that particular list which is a bit of a security risk. However, Listable say that it would be a good feature and something they would consider for a future version of Listable.

Listable is free and is available at the iTunes App Store
