Twitter was down only a few days ago touting ‘Over Capacity’ and a few days on they try to add another context feature for tweeting about the world cup, and now the entire twitter network is down with ‘internal server error’ messages.
People have also temporarily lost their tweets, this really doesn’t bode well for Twitter. Every change they make lately seems to break the network. If there were a rival service that almost equaled Twitter then I think at this point droves of Twitter customers would be moving to the other platform. I don’t know what the problem is with Twitter, whether it’s they’re just growing too quickly and not being able to keep up with the demand, or theres a number of botched attempts on updating code and features within the system.
All I hope is Twitter get their act together and resolve the problems so they don’t keep hitting into these problems again and again.
