I really wish Apple would lengthen the iPhone, iPad and iPod USB charger leads. They’re of a good length if you need to just connect the device to a computer, but if you want to plug them in say when you’re in the lounge and your extension leads are on the floor, e.g. in a lounge, the length just isn’t enough.
I was using a USB extension cable for a while on my iPhone until the iPhone somehow decided to get used to it far too much and have a mind of its own and decide it wasn’t going to accept the cable anymore. I’ve had similar problems with other USB extension cables 
Some of the Apple clone chargers you can buy online can be longer but my experience has shown that either the cable starts pulling away from the plug or the charger cable just stops working after a week or two of use.
Maybe Apple should start making a 3 meter or 5 meter cable? What do you think? Do you experience similar problems?
