iOS 4.0.1 Software Update for iPhone

The latest update for iOS4 is out, called iOS 4.0.1 this update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:

  • Improves the formula to determine how many bars of signal strength to display

Products compatible with this software update:

  • iPhone 3G
  • iPhone 3GS
  • iPhone 4

For most people there’s no need to download this update unless you want to enlarge your iPhone signal bars at the top left of the device.  There are no additional fixes included in this update from Apple.
