Here’s a video of the Samsung Galaxy S scratch test and drop test sporting the toughness of Gorilla Glass. The Samsung Galaxy S survived a scratch test from a screw, many other metal objects in a bag, 3x drop test from 90cm onto tarmac but didn’t survive cuts from a scalpel or a drop test from 1m 60cm.
3x drop tests, that looks like it beat the iPhone 4. Could be due to the lighter weight it carries in the device. The video is unfortunately not in English so you might want to turn your speakers down.
