If you don’t already listen to the Security Now podcast at Twit.tv you should check it out.

The podcast is usually about an hour long hosted by Leo Laporte and Steve Gibson (the security guru) and the guy behind Spinrite at GRC.com.

Steve talks about internet security every week, whether it’s about ARP spoofing (which can be pretty technical) to other things like what are the latest security alerts, security fixes from Microsoft, Adobe and other companies or just how browser exploits occur.

You can listen online at twit.tv/sn or subscribe to the podcast using iTunes and sync to your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Podcasts ordering fixed!

I mentioned in this article that podcast ordering had broken on iPhone OS 3.1. The good news is that iTunes 9.0.1 Update has now fixed this!

This is really good news for people that listen to a lot of podcasts or have a lot of podcasts stored on their iPhone/iPod Touch

OS 3.1 – Podcasts not sorting :-(

Unfortunately a number of new bugs in iPhone OS 3.1 are starting to show their ugly heads. We’ve had the Exchange 2007 Encryption Support (fix) that has now stopped Exchange working for all iPhone and iPhone 3G owners. It seems like Podcast sorting is now broken on the iPhone with OS 3.1.

The iPhone Blog reports…
“Instead of the iPhone’s built-in iPod app sorting podcasts chronologically up or down (newest to oldest, or oldest to newest), iPhone 3.1 users are seeing… no logical sequence that can be made sense of. Indeed, some of you let us know because the lack of order made you think your podcasts weren’t updating at all. Rest assured, it’s not you.”
